Can the helicopter land anywhere?

No but every endeavour will be made to land as near as is possible to the requested area keeping the safety of the passengers first and foremost; however, certain legal requirements have to be taken into consideration with regard to size and suitability of the landing site. Generally, landings other than at an airfield are only subject to the land owner’s and surrounding neighbours' permission. to the top

Can we fly at night?

Yes. However, as always, there are certain safety criteria to be met for such flights. to the top

What happens if the weather is not suitable for flight on the day?

Every endeavour will be made to conduct the flight safely and within legal requirements. If none of the legs on the itinerary are flown (to include ferries for passenger pick up), no charges are incurred. to the top

Can I use my electronic devices in flight?

It is advisable that people do not use equipment such as laptops or PDAs. Mobile phones must be switched off due to interference with the aircraft avionics systems, especially during takeoff and landing. However, your pilot can advise you during the flight when you may us your device(s) temporarily. to the top

How low can we fly?

This depends on several factors, including the terrain we are flying over and what the flight is for. Generally, over built-up areas, the aircraft will stay above 1000ft whilst over areas that are not built up, the aircraft can fly down to 500 ft. For aerial photography, filming, and other such operations, these restrictions may not apply given proper clearances. to the top

How far in advance do I need to book?

To avoid disappointment, we recommend you book your aircraft charter as far in advance as possible. However, should you require a helicopter at short notice, we will endeavour to meet your requirements. to the top

Can we go on a joy flight or tour that isn't listed?

Absolutely! Those listed are simply our most popular. Just let us know where you want to go; we can meet most requests. to the top

What should we wear?

Sensible footwear is advised and we ask that you avoid lose items such as hats or scarves. Your clothing should be appropriate for the weather conditions. If you plan to take photographs, darker clothing is recommended to avoid glare in your photos from the windows. to the top

Definitely, we are extremely flexible and can accommodate most requests. to the top

Are the restrictions for helicopters different than for airplanes?

Yes. Due to the unique way in which helicopters can fly, the requirements are less strict allowing helicopters to be flown with less limitations. to the top
